Great morning to you all. My tank awoke me this morning. There was a vibration coming from somewhere, so after tapping everything, I disovered it was the new powerhead in my tank. Well, after tapping it, holding it, sliding it, I discovered the problem. My snail was attached to it, and his shell was reverberating off the powerhead. Must have been some sort of thrill for him. heh heh So, removed the snail, and voila...back to bed time for Jeremy!
Everyone have a superb Friday!

Ahh...I thought I'd check out the OT to see about the project on what to do with extra water fallin' from the sky.... We had 3" overnight here!
Gotta get the Upstate rollin' here, guys. I haven't seen Digital Dragon on the AM post in a loooong time. Wake up, Jay. I think we need to do some pinching around here.
Shame on you, Jeremy, for spoiling the snail's fun
Let's get the weekend started with a good day today!
Love and hugs to everyone.

Yep, it's Friday. Whew! Tonight, hubby and I (after much negotiation, and a little pleading) are going to see my sister's senior recital before she graduates with her cello performance degree.
Then on Monday, I've got an appointment with an orthopaedic surgeon to see about this wrist... hopefully it'll just be some therapy, as it's not carpal tunnel. Might as well get it taken care of.
Anyway, have a good day everyone,
Danielle

lol my new cowrie does the same thing. and it's especially loud since he has that porcelain type shell!!!!
speaking of tank noises.... i heard a strange "humming" from my tank last night. spent two hours trying to find the hum. i unpluged each powerhead, one at a time. unplugged the return pump. the lights. the skimmer. heck, even the heaters. and could not find the source of the hum. so i gave up.
went i went to bed last night. the hum stopped.......it was coming from my ceiling fan!!!!!!!
sorry cath, my pincers were filled with belgian waffles, strawberries and whipped cream this morning!!! took everyone at the office out for breakfast today.

TGIF!
I'm glad this week is about over!
I am going to have eight 10 year old girls at my house tonight You can do the math and figure out the scream-n-giggle factor, LOL. Come this time tomorrow I may be deaf...or crazy Taking the whole bunch swimming tomorrow and after they go home I'll be coloring eggs with my three kids.
I'll probably be ready to go back to work on *onday and rest up.
Enjoy the weekend, everyone!
Alice
