Is Vinegar Basic or Acidic???

I just got done cleaning my powerheads and I'm about to place them back into my tank (the 5:1 water to vinegar worked great!). I've dried them off on the outer surface with a towel and I know the little bit of vinegar involved isn't going to throw my parameters off in a crazy way...but it did get me wondering if vinegar was basic or acidic...?

Vinager is acidic.

I always run the powerheads in FW for a few min after cleaning to get the residue off

Vinegar in small quantities is not going to harm anything. It's actually used in RO water to supersaturate the kalk solution and used to affect pH when needed

So unless you fill the pump up with 100% vinegar and you just throw the pump back on, I'm not sure it is possible to see a fluctuation in any parameters
