Is this ok? ... skimmer set up ..

Ok, I am new to this type of skimmer setup, I just wanted to make sure i did things right. Is the location ok? anything that should be moved, changed or fixed? I wanted to put it in sump, but my water level is too high.

Looks okay to me. If you still want to have it in sump you can just make a stand out of a tupperware bowl with large holes cut in it.

cool thanks, I just might do that. Its ok outside, but at least if it overflows inside I wont have a mess! ... now to get this thing dialed in. It keeps doing just that, overflowing the cup with water!

Yeah, that's a good piece of insurance to avoid a flood.

yeah, I am sure I will have one tonite haha. I will probably shut it down for the night and wait till I can put it inside. The manual says to set it so the microbubbles are .5" in the cup and let it break in for 24 hours. As soon as I walk away and come back 30 mins later, its overflowed.
