When I have had an acro bleach, the polpys loose their color too. It doesn't look bleached to me, just some color loss in the tissue. It could be because of too little lighting, low alkalinity, or other water quality problems. Did you receive it this way, or did it happen after you received it?

I think it looks pretty cool with the purple tips. Do you have any idea what type it is? Sorry I don't know much about bleaching, but would think if it was then it would not have the color in the tips either. Is that right or not?

I think I should stick with LPS corals, because that looks bleached to me. Not drastically bleached, but very little zooxanthellae. With LPS corals and anemones they can bleach and still keep their secondary pigments for a while. (the green, purple, red, and other colors) In a healthy coral like that I would expect to see a little more tan color to it, but I'm not an SPS person so?????

Why do you think liveaquaria would post a pic of a bleached SPS? That wouldnt be the way to sell anything. I thought it was a pic you took of your coral. Its definitely not bleached....
