Is this a good deal? Help

Well there is a guy selling a Wavemaster Pro from Red sea and two maxijets one is a 1200 and the other is a 900 he is asking for $80 do you think its a good idea oh and the power heads he says they have a sawed of nozzel will that affect there performance.
I am not really familiar with the Wavemaster pro i see there are little currents on the box with selectors do they control the PH and make it weaker to stronger. can the unit be used on any power head such as a Seio 820 and 1500? thx

Still have read that you must be careful with the SEIO's on a wavemaker.

Not sure on that brand...can't help with that.

I've had a Wavemaster Pro on my 180 for several years now, and have MaxiJets hooked up to it. It's been good to me.

I can't speak to the Seio, though...I've never had one.

I have a red sea wave maker (the older version) and it works great.

You can't use the MJ mod on a wave maker from what I've read, they will destroy themselfs.

Jumping on this thread because I am working on a new CLS or something to improve my circulation problem.

How does the Wavemaster Pro connect to the tank and powerheads? Do the powerheads just plug into it? What are/would be the recommended PHs for a 55g tank?

wow scratchi this plan then. are the maxijets strong enough for a 5 foot tank though? Also as for the Seio's people say dont put them on a wavemaker because the starting and shutting down will ruin the motor. yesterday i saw (i forgot his name here on trt had 2 seios and 2 maxi on timers) would the seio thing only be for the PH lower than the M1100 because Seio came out with the wavemaker but only for the stronger pumps like the M1100, M1500, and M2400 i am so confused i think i am gona look for seios number and call them right now

yeah the wavemaster has a total of 4 plugs in the back to control 3 power heads and the mainpump or you can change it and make it all 4 powerheads total. for a 55g i would recomend 2 of the Seio M820 but if you are going to use the wavemaker i think you cannot use the seio. i am going to do some reasearch on this
