We have a juvenile
lunar wrasse that has a growth protruding from the right gill. The growth almost looks like a piece of pink chewing gum, or putty, that has grown in size over a period of time, but still on the small side. The wrasse is chafing constantly, along with a little rapid breathing, and appears very discomforted. A few weeks ago we did a fresh water dip with no results. Not quite sure what a fluke looks like, but was wondering if this could be one. And what would be the best way to attack this?
One last thing, does anyone have a link that shows actual pictures of different marine ailments/parasitic infections along with written info on them? If so, we would really appreciate it if you could pass it along.
Thanks Harpo
