Is this a bad sign?

I found my acro upside down so I had to get in and get her. I handled her by the branches ( I had no choice ) and now I see white tips and she's sliming pretty good.

I'm sure she's ok but I wanted another opinion:

Should be fine. They will slime like that when they get knocked over, taken out of the water or just plain irritated.

Thanks. I figured as much but I know acros are not quite as hardy as most other corals

Be careful it may morph into a new *rare* Acropora GPS.

They look a lil close.

How long was it upside down? The sliming is no big deal at all but I might be a little worried if it got stuck in the sand for awhile and branches that were previously colored and fleshy are now white. Do the white tips still have PE?

Probably about 12 hours. I'm afraid the white sections are dead
