Interesting snail behavior

During a late night flashlight crusade I noticed my Trochus snails blowing white smoke into the water column.

Spawning?

they were no where near each other but were all doing it at the same time. Kinda cool. Im sure they appreciated me shining a light in their faces.

I also noticed an aptasia anemone. I went from "hey cool, the snails are blowing smoke" to "what the....is that.....c'mon!" in the blink of a flashlight.

Oh well, bedtime.

Well, congrats, again. Everyone at one time or another has/had/will/have that dreaded aptasia.

I would like to see some interesting snail behavior...like eating the algae off my powerheads finally.

Grats on your aptasia...wonder when Joe's Juice is going public, I want to buy stock.

My snails have babies from time to time but my leopard wrasse doesn't let them live more than a day or two

-i guess he thinks they're crunchy copepods
