Interesting...anyone got an ID?

This thing is in my Zooanthids. And from time to time, I find it in a different part. So I'm guessing it's mobile...and more importantly, alive.

Thus the reason I turn to you guys. My personal marine knowledge base.

anyways...this thing looks like a curled up worm. But instead of being some color, it has a very perfectly/symetrically black and white checkered pattern.
I haven't touched it, but it *appears* to have a hard shell (but I could be wrong).

Anyways...everytime I see it, it looks like this...and it doesn't move or anything while I watch it. But the next day, it's in a different spot.

So first question: Anyone have a clue what it is?
and second: Is it good or bad?

It is a Heliacus snail. They love to eat zoos, would be a very good idea to get rid of it.

Heres a good pic.

GOT 'EM!!!

and MAN is this thing cool to look at, even though it's dead.

I couldn't get a good pic, cause it's so tiny, but i did just lay him on
my scanner, and this is what I got.
(blew it up a bit, so it's kind of pixilated).

Note that the head looks like a drill bit! (that can't be good!)
