Intake Problem

I just lost my Green BTA. I have plastic covers over all of them but it seems my anemone just finds a way to get caught. Unfortunately he is gone now. Is there any possible way I can prevent this any further.

Thanks,
Brian

quit buying anemones sorry, Sorry to hear about your loss, I know it really such to lose an animal. Can you describe your set up a little better. or provide a pick. I've heard of people using coarse filter pads to prevent them from getting caught but that seems like a lot of work. Would have a better idea if I knew better where it got caught on what the det up looked like. I had an anemone get caught in my canister filter intake I solved that by using the round bio filter type sponges on the end of the intake, Just had to keep up with cleaning them.

i use the sponge on some of my intakes. i have all of them surround by rocks so nothing can get caught in them. the only thing that is in the open is my millenium 2000 filter. that intake is in the middle of my tank and is not near any rocks. i am guessing the anemone moved along the wall. should i get more live rock to build up around that? sorry i dont have a camera to take a pic.
