Installing CLS!

Well after removing my DSB and cleaning everything out of the tank, I am ready to install a CLS!
I have a 125 acrylic tank that after the Eastern Power Outage went into arrest!
Upgrading sump to 45 gallon w/refugium and am installing a CSL using a little giant 3MDQY-SC.
?? will it hurt to have the intake about center of tank with strainer?
?? and should I have 2 or 4 returns and their postion drilled in the tank? ( 2 are already drilled in top corners!)

2 holes in the corners like you said are great for moving lots of water in the open parts of the tank. i would also have some/one in the middle of the tank near the bottom to blow out detritus from behind the LR. the less inlet you have the greater the danger to the critter in the tank due to suckage. just some food for thought.

you will want the inlet in an easily accessible spot to clean it when it gets clogged.
