Input on buying a tank

I am looking at buying a tank and some corals and fish. Just wanted some input on what type of tank i should buy. I want it to be 55g or more. And a friend of mine owns a fish shop in colorado springs who can get it for me. Also input on what i should put in it.

75G is the best size to start with for a reef! The 90G is the same footprint as the 75G only deeper requiring more expensive lighting than the 75G would.

Go with a 75G.

Great input thank you. How are they with other fish? Which fish do you recommend?

They are (Mine anyway) a bully toward other tangs. I have him in with a Sailfin, A Hippo & a Naso. The PBT owns the tank but he bothers none of the smaller fish. If you want different tangs and you want a yellow or PBT then make them the last added.

Most anything else should be fine. Always research each fish before you buy to ensure they will fit in. The rest depends on what you like/want.
