The links Dick gave are very good, but they don't have a lot of description about the corals, etc. Nothing beats reference books. Natural Reef Aquariums and Conscientious marine Aquarist ..everyone should read these. Scott Michaels fish books are great. Even an older marine atlas like Baensch is a great resource. The Reef Aquarium volume 1 and 2 are also excellent books. We have 8 reefing books and there are still some new ones that I'd like to get. You've spent a lot of $$$ so far. info sites on fish n corals


someone mentioned something about researching the fish or inverts im going to purchase and i was wondering.does anyone know of a site that i can go to , type in the fish or invert and get the information on it.i really wanted to purchase the 2 nudis,2linkias,2harlequin shrimps,purple lobster,and mabe a few others. any info would be appreciated [nuts]

Even better, while you are waiting for your tank to settle, get a copy of Scott Michaels' Reef Fishes book and Eric Bornemann's Aquarium Corals. These are authoritative and will always be at your elbow for reference.
