Increasing Water Volume


Since the propagation table will be in the basement I can have it looking like a mess I was thinking about having three or more rubbermaid trash cans linked to one another.

Pros: Increased water volume, more pod safe areas

Cons: Increased heating cost

I was inspired by this pic at The Salty Zoo

Hey, I know that picture.

I just came from working on that sump just now. I thought I was seeing things when I opened up this post.

I've made a few adjustments to that since the pic, but it's basically the same as shown.

I've replumbed with PVC to replace the hose.
I also put PVC with an elbow and more PVC to move the water flow to the bottom of the trash can for more circulation.
