imput on lights from hello lights?

has anybody had experience with hellolights.coms house brand t5HO bulbs? TRU i think it was? my retro kit came with a 10,000k and actinic both that TRU brand

I think they are OK...but I also think you would be much more impressed with ATI or Giesemann bulbs...I run a combo of ATI Aquablue Special and Giesemann Actinic Plus...they are noticeably better than the "stock" bulbs I've seen from anyone...the Aquablue Specials are more like a 12k-14k...and the Actinic Plus are a 40/60 mix of the "pink/purple" and blue actinic bulbs.

I vaguely remember being told that TRU was a Current USA bulb, just rebranded. Kind of like buying many store brand products, they are made by other companys. All they do is put on a different label.
