Talking

im a daddy !

I looked into my 55 this morning and there are thousands (it looks like it) of very small cleaner shrimp in the tank with what looks like small little sack on their fronts. Must be some kind of embryonic food source that gets them through there first days.

Feeding them?

My peppermint shrimp had eggs when I added her to my tank, and they hatched about 3 months ago. They are growing, but still really small. I have a sixline wrasse that keeps them hidden all day, but at night they are everywhere. So cool to see their eyes glowing in my flashlight.

Do you have any idea on how you plan to feed them. I squirt pieces of food into the two main dwellings that I know of in the tank, but want to ne carefull of adding too much small particle foods. I was thinking of getting a timerelease block and breaking pieces off it and placing them unti the caves where I know they hide in?

Any ideas??

Congrats,
Dustin T
