i am an artist at heart, and i was thinking of a way to make my tank abit more unique.. not my current tank,, but perhaps one in the near future, and wanted ideas on how it would work
the idea is to make a floating "planet"
use one large chunk of live rock (or several glued together to form a large piece make it round, by chipping away or glueing in chunks, leave some caves and such inside it. suspend it on a piece of acrlic rod so it apears to be floating in the center of the tank, perhaps even motorize it so it does a slow turn maybe one revolution per day. mix it with bright
light loving corals as well as shade loving ones (so the underside won't be bare.)
any thoughts on this, would the slow rotation mess with the corals on it?
