ID this thing all over my ret filter sponge


You guys know what this is? It's all over my return section of my refugium, esp the sponge. It's definatly got some sort of tail.

WOW! That's a good guess for not seeing the pics. I can pull up the pics and your right. They are scypha sponges.

they are also called tunicates. these are what eat up your silicates when the tank matures.

the description was very good, there is really only one thing that grows like crazy in that environment.
