it looks like an algae from the Neomeris sp. and in the Dasycladaceae family.... from my book anyway...no common name given
It says it can lie dormant for up to 2 years on live rock before reappearing...bright green to lime green and slightly fuzzy....often in live rock from Indonesia.... light in the aquarium should be strong to sustain this algae and no nitrate level above 20mg/litre
