Before i go asking i just want to say thank you TRT for all the help you have given my husband and myself, our tank has survived (and thrived) due to some good solid advice from many members.

the little white mass of dots has been there for a while, but now ive found another one (in a not so easy to photograph place)
its about the same size as a pea, and occasionally has a green tinge.

sponge. they get a green tinge to them after theyve been there for a while cuz algae grows on them

Agreed...Sponge...bubble algae would be several bubbles stuck together. Sponges are great for your tank. Also great food source for many fish
