Can you get a bigger picture? All I can see is a little green smudge. Does it retract into a purple mat? It could be green algae, but it's hard to tell.

That looks like the algae I helped pull out of LadyReefNecks tank one day. I don't remember the name of it though. Has little runners that every joint in the runner attaches to the rock.

What we did was simply pull it off as well as we could. After that, she started moving the rocks to her bigger tanks and letting the tangs eat it. Other than tangs eating it, I am not sure how to get it all off.
