Well, I guess that the last update is to say I've been had. Like I figured. Talked to the owner who talked to Monty, they found my rock(dunno what is with it) and the only thing that "didn't die" was the brain that was worth SEVENTY DOLLARS, a 4" tri-colour trachy. And they sold that for $25. Great. I don't think I am going back there once they figure out my credit for sure and I spend it there. All because I trusted someone and didn't get a receipt as a result. Just another in the file of "DON'T TRUST THEM YOU IDIOT" for me.
edit, was worth $60, I got $10 off since it was the first thing to go into the new tank and Ben is still a cool guy. Oops. My bad.

Wow. So never mind that. I got a total of $10 from them, and got called a liar since someone put the brain that I had on my account BEFORE I TOOK IT HOME as an assorted frag and didn't credit my account FOR it. When I PAID IT OFF. Wow. Just great. A whopping $10 for $300 worth of stuff.
Yep. Marine Tech in Grand Junction, CO. Great place to go if you want to be RIPPED OFF and then told it is YOUR fault you disgusting liar you.

^_^ Thanks again.
Something that has been bothering me though. I supposedly owed them $38.82 for stuff I have put onto my account and never paid off. I know that while I can't prove it I distinctly remember having my brain paid off completely before I brought it home, and that I had my zoa colony paid off within 2 weeks. The only reason I had it home before was that with the brain, I went in a few times and saw Monty, after he'd been told about it, trying to sell it to someone. First time, I paid off half of the brain, put the other half($25 my price, sorry, got it wrong. It was a $60 brain before a $10 cut from Ben, not a $70 one originally) onto my account. The next time was for the zoas. Which showed up as a frag even the first time on their PC. Paid $10, charged $10. BOTH TIMES the VERY NEXT TRANSACTION was for $25 and $10 respectively, with a few misc. frags tossed in. Now, while this was not added into my balance, tell me, does it strike anyone else as being strange that I put $X on my account, then the NEXT TIME I WAS IN THE STORE I paid $X for an "assorted frag" of something? While I still owed exactly $X to them? But since it wasn't on my account, I've got nothing. And they aren't going to give me anything else.
Oh well, after this I'm going to be complaining to the BBB. Probably won't see anything from it, but it's something, right?

Well my first experience with them was very negative... So I just do most of my shopping online. It's a hard town to have a LFS, led alone a SW LFS. If they keep it up I think they won't be around too long.

Your LFS gives out credit? That is dangerous.
