does it have a hard outer shell? Looks more like maybe a type of triabite to me but maybe it was the pic.

Tannir, its real hard to make out details in the pic. It kinda looks like the underside of a chiton(maybe)
FWIW most nudis are highly colored or contrasting color, slug looking critters with a feathery external gill structure often on the anterior portion of the body

I am sorry the photo is dark but it only comes out in the dark, I have not touched it but it looks like it has a soft body on the bottom of the pic of this thing it has short red spines. if its not a nudi which it prob is not seeing that they are short lived (This thing has been in my tank since i got the live rock went through the cycle process and still kickin) then what else could it be will try to get another pic but tis hard to get a good shot any suggestions on how to do that would be great

am checking on the triabite theory as well as the chiton theory
