ID coral AND proof I have a tank and inhabitants!


For all my morning friends that thought I was just telling stories! LOL Here are some pics and questions..First Pic.. WHAT IS THIS? It was sold to me as an unspecified leather coral.. I love it.. just have no clue what it is.

the Blue monster.. from the front of the tank (it's in a 75 Gal reef ready... It's that big thing on the right side of the tank LOL

and finally my purple tang at work.... and a special thanks to John AKA unclefester for "dumping all this stuff on me when he left for the east coast. I hope you can see I'm taking care of all the stuff you left me. They're growing like crazy. I wish you were here to help.. and btw You owe me a 150 gal tank with lights! This stuff wasn't supposed to grow so large so fast!

Thanks Tim,

I can't ID it either but it isn't a cool looking coral. The pic didn't pick up hos green it is or the star polyps either. But I still think you can see how healthy everything is. I usually feed my carpet 3 whole shrimp every weekend. The Bubble gets most of one shrimp. For some reason it doesn't like it with the tail on?LOL And the frogspawn..well I don't feed it anything.. although when I feed the fish it is in that corner. As for teh frags, You're more than welcome to visit and help start getting some out!

you never know jim ... maybe one of these days i will pick up Jenn, and cath and Dick and few others and make a road trip out of it.. if i remember right you said wall in inthe middle of no where....

good job on the pictures... what type of camera did you use? i can never get mine to be clear.. they are always a bit fuzz.. and that 's before the tequila!

actually one of my oldest son's friend came over... she has a pretty nice camera and was using 800 speed film... she did a pretty good job for a 17 yr old!

And ya'll go ahead and come down.. we'll ahve a bbq and send ya back with frags and a full stomach
