Ich Question

i recently added a copperband butterfly to my aquarium and noticed today that he has some ich on him, what would be the best option to get rid of this with as little stress as possible due to how delicate they are.
i have another fish only set up that i had put some coper in, would he be ok if i put him in a tank with some water out of this tank...because i don't want to put him with a huma huma and a niger trigger
if this works then how long should i leave him in quarentine

copper is a good way to treat ick as long as the levels are in the correct range.
