ice cap ballast wireing problem


i got (2) 250 w ice cap metal halide ballast the other day and just got the reflectors in and the sockets came with them and the ice cap ballast has a female plug and the sockets have a bare wire what do i do? ooo ya it's de bulbs

I got the same ballast a few weeks ago. I ordered a matching male plug that I connected to a grounded power cord. The other end of the cord I hard wired to the socket. Here's what I got:

I just cut the plug and straight wired it.
