I uh.. Broke my skimmer?

I have a Red Sea Berlin Turbo Skimmer. And I was trying to change it from in sump, To an out of sump skimmer. I bought some PVC and such, made everything, and then went to assemble it all back together. Well for some reason, after I did this the bubbled went from very fine, to huge. I now have large bubbles going into my skimmer. I thought it was a flaw in my plumbing somehow, so set it back up how it was, and the same thing. I let it run for an hour. And no change. I have completely disassembled it, put it back together, and no luck. What did I do? Help!

Doesn't larger bubbles mean more air is getting into the skimmer? Have you played with the venturi on the skimmer?

Saltwater is more dense so stay smaller; a lot more to it than that but that's pretty much the main reason.

Glad you got it fixed.
