I think my BTA's are toast:(
Well it was bleached from day 1. Then it split. Now tonight they look absolutely pathetic. Spindly is the best word to describe  I will continue to feed them but I think they are goners.

At night mine can look pretty pathetic or look fine. I remember almost throwing out my BTA because it got stuck in a pump and shrunk to the size of a quarter. I waited and watched (so as not to pollute the tank, if it's "melting" get it out). It never started looking like it was melting so I left it in. Now it's the size of a basketball....
