I think I am sick, please help!! (pic)
OK.... people here is my problem. Every couple of days I move stuff around in my tank. Then stand back and say " Man that is perfect I never need to touch this tank again". But then the next day I have my hands in their moving rock, causing all sorts of rockslides, etc, and what all I wanted to do was move a coral two inches after an hour or two I have restructured half the tank, water on the carpet, etc.......Please help what is wrong with me.

It's a common affliction among reefers, but seriously, retrain yourself to not modify the aquascaping for a set time, say a week minimum, and give it time to sink in and see how it looks

Mom said it once, and I'll say it again: "If you keep touching it, you'll go blind".

Get yourself a refugium. Tinker around with that instead of your display. I had to or I would have torn my tank apart by now. Figgit with the fuge, don't dink with the display.

I do the exact same thing... its a illness.. lol (speaking for myself, of course) constantly in the water messing things up all to find that "perfect" scape or that "perfect" spot for something... carpet soaked, rocks falling and me, never satisfied... And with a 29 you can imagine all the trouble I cause!! I would love to have a deeper tank so at least I could actually move around in there when I do this!! someday...

Truly for me, the only solution was to get an "experimental" setup I could screw around with to my hearts content. Putting your hands in your main display is not a good idea. The funk on your fingers can cause some real headaches in a tank. Plus the fish don't like it.
