I see dead people... now dead ghost fish?
What are these phantom things floating around in my water? They appear to be pieces of like plastic wrap or something... but you can't really grab it, it's definately organic in nature.
I would imagine it's a secretion of some sort. Any ideas?

Got leather corals? If so, they get "snotty" from time to time, that could be it.
Wrasses and eels secrete mucous "cocoons" too, as they sleep etc.,
Ring any bells?
