i saw macro alage for sale...............

i saw a medium size bunch of macroalage for sale at that fish place for 3.99....................what do you do with this.............it looks like a bunch of flowers held togther............so i am assuming you put it in the aquarium wedged in a rock for food???????????

I would keep macro Alage out of the display. They can quickly take over the tank

Usually for a refugium. If placed on an alternate lighting cycle than the display tank, a refugium could dampen pH swings. It also helps in nutrient export, you let it grow in the fuge, and then pull it out.
