i saw a creepy thing in my tank!!!!

i woke up about 3am and looked at my tank. I have moon lights so its kinda easy to see whats going on in there. as I looked in one spot, i saw this creepy thing sliding under my rocks. i couldnt get a pic but i did get a little flashlight. it was tan, oval looking and as thin as 1/8 of an inch... maybe about 1" wide and over 1" long. I didnt see the entire lenght because it was sliding under the LR. It really looked like the underside of a snail but paper thin!! any ideas???? i was going to do a picture search on google but I have no idea what to type in.

Its cool i am always up looking at my tanks during the night. Do a google image search for flat worms and see if any of those match.

I would try to take a pic of it if possible before doing anything drastic.

I am a firm hater of quick fixes and additives.

But I gotta tell you...I used the Flatworm Exit (by Salifert, I think)...and it really worked.

Killed ONLY the flatworms in the tank. All my tiny little feather dusters lived...crabs....corals...nothing showed any sign.

one thing though...FOLLOW the DIRECTIONS carefully! They give you some extra work to do after adding the product...and it is CRUCIAL that you follow these directions.

Flatworms release large amounts of toxins when they die. If you don't get out as many dead bodies as you can...you might have problems.

But the product worked WONDERFULLY!

that looks like a nudibranch...most are harmless (and will eventually starve and die).

Others like to much on valuable corals.
