I need some input

Seasons greetings all. I have recently been given a truVu with the built in filtration it hase the large oveflow box with prefilter and drip plate and bio balls. Its measurments are 60x18x24 Tall. I want some more input on what my options are for rigging a skimmer on this. 1. Would I be better off to dril it for a sump. 2. Rig a skimmer on one end or the other. or 3. Set if up FW and not even mess with a Reef Tank?

Thanks for your time

Jeff

In my opinion, there is no comparison between sump and hang on skimmers, sump or stand alone skimmers are the winners hands down.

Best way to Plumb? drill the back overflow and use as big a sump (prolly gonna end up being a 55) as I can? I have 2 return pumps they are mag 12's would a 1 inch drain be enough with dual 1 inch returns?

Jeff I have 2 1" drains on my 75 and a Sen 900 return pump. A friend of mine has a near identical setup stick tank that ran a Mag18. If I were to do it again I would go larger, esp if it was out of sight, Better safe than sorry
