I need help picking my new bulbs.
I need to replace my 250 DE MH bulbs. I like the look of the phoenix 14k blubs. I will be running actinics as well. I read a few reviews of people saying they don't get much growth but they love the color. Then one guy said he had great color at first then the corals started losing color. Anyone have an opinion on these. Its so hard to pick new bulbs that you want. I want great color and good growth. I will be running my usual URI actinics.

I have 10k with actinics and have great growth and nice color, I have seen tanks with phoenix 14k blubs and the corals look great under them. But they made the rest of the tank just a little to blue for my taste.

i am a 20k guy i run Two 250w 20k XM bulbs. At my LFS they have 3 tank right next to each other all of them run 250w the first one runs 10k then the next 14k then the last one 20k its really nice to see them all next to each other to compare. I love the 20k and actually will maybe add some URI atnics my self. but if you want growth just go for the 10K and then add more actinics to reach the blue you like while still getting the growth.
