I need control
I want to install a controller on my new system, but I'm not sure which one, Octopuse 3000,or Neptune. Which one would be the better unit, and why?

wanareef,
That is really great, but I'm going to need something fairly soon. Also the statement is made by the designer he/she doesn't if he/she will ever get to stage where preassembled models will be available. There is no way I would be able to assembel one of these units, but my hat is off to the person that designed this unit . It looks like a lot of time, and work went into this controller along with more brains then I will ever have.

Geoff,
Thank you very much for your reply.
Does anyone else have any input on this subject?

I am happy to build it but cannot do either programming of EPROM's or any heavy software stuff due to lack of equipment in my current shop. If all it takes is fabbing a board and ordering the parts and putting it together that is not hard.
I know you are in a hurry but it would be good to see if the inventor gets the board working well...also ordering parts gets dramatically cheaper for every multiple of ten. (i.e. 1, 10, 100, 1000).
As soon as he gets it done I will try to build one and post on my success and a review.
If you need something right now it looks like there are a couple mentioned in earlier threads.

Thank you very much Phishnoob. I don't need it tomarrow, or even next week, but soon, and like you stated the unit will need to have some time for testing.
