I lost two fish :-(
Hi Everyone,
I had a bad night last night. I have two new brains and they needed to be fed. So I waited until the lights had been off for an hour or so then I went in to feed the corals. That worked out great they ate like little pigs. While I was watching the corals eat I noticed my two dogs were very excited and seemed to be all under foot but thats nothing new for them.
After feeding the corals I went to bed I called for the 2 dogs but they wouldn't come to bed. That was strange but I still didn't think too much of it. This morning I went over to the tank to look at the brains when I noticed two fish missing in action. My little true clown and my fairy wrasse. I put food in and still they were gone. I looked all around the tank no fish. After checking the whole apt I found them in the dogs bed all dried up and half eaten. The dogs didn't get scolded but they knew I wasn't happy. So now I'm down to 7 fish in my 150.
Thanks for listening.
Patrick

yeah they must have jumped while I had my hand in the tank feeding the corals. I must have startled them.

Sorry to hear that. Do you have to have the lights off when you feed them? So you can see em to prevent it from happing agian.

thanks Mike
Ive never fed my brains before so not really sure. From my understading they only send the sweepers out at night. Next time I will know to look for any jumpers.

Sorry to hear about your fish. I know it is sad to find a fish that has jumped, I had a Starry Dragonet
for over a year and it jumped out last weekend, I guess it is time for me to enclose the back of my canopy.

Sorry about the loss Patrick

Thanks Bill Tim John harman and Mike, I'm just glad it wasn't because I was neglectful on the water changes or anything like that.
