I just got the OK from the Boss
Today I was enjoying my tank and talking to my wife, and I had told her about a friend of mine that is going to give me a 55 gal tank with stand, when she out of the blue stated "what would you think if you knocked down a wall in our house and build a reef tank into the wall there?". After I woke out from passing out I said that would be awesome! So now I have to work a lot of overtime to save up for my new project.
Thought I would pass on the good news and I want to thank Hendersonracing, I've been showing her your AWESOME progress of your tank, and I think that gave her the idea.

Hey man.....a fun project indeed. Make sure you put cupboard doors or some type of removable panel on the top in from of the tank so you can get in when you need to. I made teh mistake and above my tank it is sheetrock and you have to reach in from the backside which sucks IMO Good luck!

Agreed! if youre going to do it, go all out!
Lots of things to consider. Power and water being important. If you can, use a wall with water and sewer. Run a dedicated circuit. consider accesability also.
Im doing that very thing right now. Have water and sewer, eectrical soon and a room on the other side for all the stuff. take your time planning and also plan the steps of the build. It will save yourself trouble!
Good luck, congrats and post lots of pics!
