I just can't get it out of my system!

I'm talking me, not my tank system! I moved, had to sell my tank (only 9-10 months old). Now I'm already itching for a new tank (bigger and better of course)! Of course I'm stuck living at my parent's until I find gainful employment again (and let me tell you, for a 26 year-old who hasn't lived with his parents since he was 18, this is no picnic. besides, who would have ever thought that a Software Engineer with a BS and a good work resume would have a hard time finding a job?), so a new tank is out of the question. Grrrr... How do other reefers deal with not having a tank?

Sorry, just venting. It was heartbreaking enough having to dump my tank, but...

Yea I had to move in w/parents after college while trying to find my first job and I totally understand the no picnic part. But the free food worked out OK . As far as itching for some reef, why not go for a 8-10 gallon eclipse and fill it with live rock and a crab or two. That way you could grow some corraline and tide your addiction till you move out? Thats what I would do anyways.

Well good luck finding a jobby job.

Derosier, I feel your pain brother! I went through the same thing I had to move in with the parents when I was 27. I love my parents but what a nightmare! My tank was shut down for 2+ years, and has currently been up for 1 year and 4 months. Having a reef is very addictive just hang in there and when you do get a job you can set up a bigger and better tank...
