I have Life In My Tank!!!

I know its not much but I got my LR Saturday. The rock has been in my tank since then but I was aquascaping today and noticed 3 snails that hitchiked on my rock. Its kind of exciting even though they aren't much. Thats all. I will take a pic of the tank so far and post it soon. I have the moonlights going because it makes a nice cool glow in the tank. Better than a dark tank.

Congrats!

If you keep a close eye on the tank I'd bet you'll find the snails weren't your only hitchikers; all kinds of interesting critters may pop up!

just last night i found a weird looking clam crawling up my glass. that was kind of strange. good luck, hope you dont have any BAD hitchhikers! (mantis shrimp, cirolanids, isopods, evil crabs, flatworms, etc etc)

(sorry didnt mean to scare you)

yea! i got some great stuff with my LR about 3 weeks ago when i got it. 2 crabs and an electric blue crab! all hitchhiked. Good luck with your tank and congrats on the life. Since those guys are your first you'll be able to recognize them from the rest of your snails

keep watching...Lots more stuff (don't freak out when you see white bugs their good)

and its good to see more people from Califronia are waking up and joing, I've noticed that the past couple of weeks

you lnow the West Coast usually is behind....
