I have discovered bristleworms

Ok so I have many bristleworms ranging 1 to 2 inches long. Are these bad? I'm just noticing these in the past week I can probably see 10 of them. Which makes me think there are many more to come. Would it be helpful to keep a shrimp that will go after them like a coral banded shrimp? I have a 4 inch volitan lionfish, so could I even keep a shrimp? I keep hermits, snails and a emerald without a problem.

They are beneficial to your tank. Don't worry about them until they get three feet or longer.

Be careful to not ruff handle them. If the bristles get in a sensitive part of you skin it can be very annoying.
