I just took 6 berghia nudibranch's out of my tank. I know they arte good They have been eating my zoo's plus I don't have any aptassia. If any body wants them Be my guest. I think I got them as a hitchhiker and the laid eggs I probably have more. They are about the width of your pinky finger long.

Hi again, thanks for the photos!

After looking at the photos, I don't think that these are Berghia spp nudibranchs, although they are definitely some type of nudibranch. Have you actually gotten any adults from this setup, or are the little ones as big as you have seen so far? Nudibranchs are very specialized feeders, I do not think that there has been any documentation of Berghia spp feeding on zoanthids.

Interesting that you have these though, it may be that you will need to freshwawter dip your Zoanthids to rid them of these pests.

Berghia nudibranchs eat only one thing, aiptasia anemones.

The nudibrachs that eats zoas look very similar, but are not the same. Do not give these to anyone. Do a fresh water dip on your zoas for 5 minutes, shake the coral off in the fresh water to make sure all of the nudibranchs come off the rock. Look for white egg strands on the rock. Pick them off with tweezers.

Make sure you also look for any egg colonies and FW dip them too. the eggs are similar to what a snail lays. look for a white swirl on the rocks (like this @). those are the eggs. Big bad mojo. get rid of them unless you know someone who wants their zooz eaten.
