I have 1 issue to resolve... Overflow bubble factory

I am 99% happy with my plumbing.

Water overflows into internal overflow box... Siphons into a small external box, then overflows out two standpipes down into my sump.

Works great except since the overflow tube are only working at about 50% capacity the tubes going to the sump are empty, (but they do run quiet).... I simply have them hanging in the sump.

Is there any way to reduce the bubbles and gurgling in the SUMP?

you can make durso for down at the sump... run your drains into the durso and then down into the sump, at the top of the tee for the durso, run the pipe up about 6-7" and put a cap that you can drill for a piece of 1/4" tubing so that you can regulate the intake air via an air control valve.

I have my pipe running into a filter sock. I know you shouldn't rely on that as a bubble trap.......but it sure does work. I use the filter sock attachted onto my pipe....and it collects all the air and lets it vent out, because it wont go through the sock. (I have a special made felt and mesh bag)

In the 90 degree elbow that turns the line from my bulkhead downwards to my sump, Ive drilled a 5/16" hole for a 3" piece of airline. That quieted the gurgling by 70% or so. I then added a 90 degree elbow to my bulkhead on the water-side of the glass to keep the small whirlpool from forming at the mouth of the bulkhead. This quieted the tank end 100%.

In the sump, my drain pipe ends underwater, where a 90 degree elbow turns the pipe parallel with the water's surface. from there, a 4" section of pipe terminates at a T, splitting the water's direction in two. This allows many of my bubbles to disipate (in my system).
