I got the blues! Pic


Finally got the bulbs! 20000k xm's I called the company I ordered from and they said the blue will become more white once they break in. I was expecting blue but I got really really blue. Will they get brighter? Dont get me wrong the corals really pop at ya now It just seems I dont know dim?

20K bulbs are blue. they are to blue for my tastes. they will whiten a bit, but not much.

We'll see how it goes. I don't have any acentics on the tank which is why I went so high. I must say even the dark blue is better than the yellow the old ones had turned. I'll post more pics once the lights break in.

more. The gsp is really ticked believe it or not. He just got fragged and didn't like being cut in half! Wonder why?

Yes t5's. The plan is to go with 10000k xm and the ho t5's. I need to replace the ballast and redesign my canopy. For now I will just use the 20000k until I get the ballast and the canopy set up the way I want. I will just wait it out and research the best way of doing this. I also want to switch out my mh pulse start ballast for some that are electronic. Alot to do to get the lighting the way I want but the bulbs were needed to be replaced when I got the tank used and just havn't had the time or money to do it. I am gonna start looking around at electonic balast and want to add some additional fans.
