I got some new inhabitants

After loosing my cleaner shrimp and yellow watchman goby to hurricane Ivan... today I went and bought a clown goby and two peppermint shrimp to try to brighten up the tank..

I also noticed a small colony of yellow star polyps each about 1/8" inch... on just regular live rock I purchased when I started up my tank, I am hoping that they thrive... since they started growing themselves maybe its a good spot..

Anyone have a clown goby how are they??

I also got a new strainer so no more fish getting suck up..

Not too sure what a yellow star polyp is. Ive got some Yellow polyps - they eat fish food if they catch it and are all yellow - and green star polyps - don't eat and withdraw into a maroon tube at night. both are pretty hardy

Sorry to hear about your losses. Our yellow watchman goby is easily the favorite of any fish in any tank at Noob Manor.

Maybe Parazoanthis gracilis? Those are the only yellow polyps I know of.
