they are very sensitive mainly because they are such finicky eaters. the main problem seems to be from what I read, that they go without being fed for too long a duration from collection to buyer and by that time they simply wont eat. if you can get them eating (oysters or black mussels on the half shell apparently are what people have luck with initiating a feeding response) and acclimated to your tank, they arent so bad, but unfortunately many dont make it. they are such a beautiful fish and so many die that many people are opposed to the collection of them. similar to how people feel about anemone collection (rare cases of long term--more than one year--survival in captivity for an otherwise extremely long lived animal...into the hundreds of years. for anemones that is.)

They like to eat sponges which is 95 percent of there diet.
