Cool

I could make margaritas with this stuff....

or at least some lovely green chili sauce...just add some fresh jalapenos....

since i got my skimmer up and running again i have finally dared to disturb the substrate a bit and to scrape the algae farm that was growing on the left and right panes of glass, without a skimmer i didn't want to do too much of this since i didn't have a very efficient way of removing those teensy bits of gunk and didn't want the scraped algae to re-release whatever it had soaked up, so my skimmer has been making this wonderfully dark green/brown stuff and thats great cause i guess that means its working this time... and that made me think of something... i thought i read or heard somethign about dripping kalk near the skimmer's intake and that it would help removal of something else as well, i'm thinking it was phosphates? Is it phosphates or something else or am i totally off my bio-rocker?

Rumor has it that kalk drip will bind up some of the available phosphate, how much I can't remember. IMO any exported PO4 is good
