I caught another one...
I caught another hermit crab nipping at my softies. I have already taken one of my crabs out of the tank and put it in the sump. Now I think they are all going to have to go. The first one was busted eating on my zoo that I'm trying to save now. Then just last night I saw another one picking at my colt coral. I am going to ask the LFS guy if he will take them and trade me some more snails for them. Are they worth less to the LFS when they are bigger or less?

most lfs will give you 50% of what they charge for them...
I have been happily free of crabs for about 8 months now(save the jokes......this is a family forum)

I also hate hermet crabs, they kill my cirth snails and eat blastos. Well not really eat the blasto itself, but when you feed a blasto the hermit crab walks over and rips the food out of the blasto, often causing it's death.
I use just Cirth and Astrea snails, they work great.

You Know you all take my fun away. I mean really it's not fair. I still have my crabs and everybody else gets rid of theirs. (hermit crabs that is)

I have two scarlet reef hermies... I think I have two, I rarely ever see them!
