HQI ballasts - ICECAP MH 150 - help!

Is anyone using the Icecap electronic ballast for 150 HQI applications? I'm looking to buy these, but want to know if they are designed around HQI. Most ballasts will light these bulbs, but few will run them as designed. My lighting system that I purchased, used ADVANCE e-visions electronic ballasts for my HQI bulbs. After talking with ADVANCE, they stated that these ballasts are not the correct ballasts to be using. Nice. In a nutshell, I'm looking for an electronic ballast for ANSI M81 type bulbs that will run my 150 HQI DE. Don't want magnetic, no buzzing, no leaking, no thank you.

Thanks,
Alex

Though I have never researched this in perticular I don't think there is a electronic ballast that drives the bulbs like a Magnetic HQI does. Those HQI ballasts really overdrive the bulbs to about 300W or so making huge par numbers in DE and SE bulbs alike, but they also shorten the bulb's life.

I personally use ARO ballasts and a High par bulb, but I do agree with one point, using those 150W bulbs, you can use all the help you can get.

The M81 is not a 150W Ballast BTW, it's a 250.
