How's this for stocking a 55G tank?

I'd like some opinions as to what the rest of the sane world thinks of this stocking setup. Personally I believe this is a bit(understatement) overcrowded. Let me know what you think.

55G tank with about 47G's of water after displacement, and 18G's of water in the sump. Filtration is run by a wet/dry. Lighting is run by 4 N.O URI bulbs(unkwn wattage).

Here's the fish stocking list:

1 avg sized Yellow tang
1 unkwn sized Powderblue tang
1 unkwn sized Kole tang
1 unkwn sized Sailfin tang
1 Pair of clarki clowns about 2in each
1 3" Copperband butterfly
1 8" engineer goby
1 2" flame hawk
(unkwn #- he said "couple") of bangaii cardinals
1 unkwn sized Mandarin

Quote:
It has many corals like acropora's devil hands elegance, hammer, yellow polyps God lets see? lemnillias, singulars, colts, stars, cabbage, blastomusa ,woods polyps
Personally I hate this guy. He's considered a god over on the About.com Saltwater forums and this is the stocking level of a tank he helped setup for a local school. Everyone takes every word of his for gold.... just pathetic.

In two years though I learned one thing, don't start an argument at that forum. You can bring as much data and researched facts to the table but you're still dragged down to the level of an idiot by fighting idiots who won't accept any research unless "Tangster1" agree's to it.

Here's this particular thread about this magical 55G tank btw

Sorry... just felt like ranting a bit...

Okay, I know next to squat about fish, but I fully agree with you...sounds like an over stocked tank. If they are all small, I can see how it wouldn't look overcrowded..but... just from what I have heard from people over the year, that is overstocked.

HEY MAPSTER!!
I just took back the last of my live stock to the LFS yesterday and transferred
my live rock to a holding container. I am moving in the first part of march and
feel it is time to do that overhaul I have been planning. Only parts im going
to keep are the tank, stand, canopy, and live rock.
Today im going to drain the water, through out the substrate, and measure it for
a custom internal over flow. So I hope to have the overflows in and dry by the time I move.

How's your tank doing? last time I heard you were giving it up for a while?

Nice hearing from you.

Ok, the stocking list is just plain silly, and keeping any of those LPS and softies, let alone Acros under NO is utterly ridiculous, but soaking LR in BLEACH!!! I hope this was meant as a joke, if not I feel sorry for the poor creatures in the tank.

Im in pretty much the same boat as you. I took down my tank to save money for a wedding thats happening in September. Soon after that I plan on buying a home. Not to raise a family but to raise a reef tank.

In the time off I have been reading. learning, reading, planning, reading, planning and have also found some time to throw in a little reading and planning. The anticipation is killing me but I have realy worked hard to make sure my next tank is a sucess.

Hope to see you up and running real soon.
