How would you run this? 90g Hex

Im looking at getting a 90 gallon Hex tank "thanks Marco", but it isnt drilled... Its an older tank with very thick glass and comes with a stand.

My question is, how would i run it? What kind of filtration? etc..etc..???

This would be used mainly as a QT tank and maybe have a clown trigger in it with some LR, but no corals...

What would you do?

umm i dont think a clown trigger would be a very good resident in a qt tank.... as far as filtration goes all u really need is a skimmer imo. if youre not doing corals then u dont need any high ouptut lighting. so imo just get a skimmer and a heater and have fun!!! if youre using it as a qt tank be careful of treating sick fish in there. if u used copper based meds it could never house inverts again!

hey no problem adam.

I would just run a fluval on it ... if you plan on running it as a QT. the stand has a cutout on the rear side for hoses/pipes & cables.

and yes, if you run copper in it - i'd advise against converting to a reef afterwards ... i'd just dump some acehp base rock in that tank for hiding spots if thats what you want - just do NOT re-use that rock in your reef display .. it will slowly over time leak the copper & poison your system.
